In the east of the province of Groningen, close to the German border, you will find the small-scale holiday park Landal de Wedderplassen. Here in the nature-rich region of Westerwolde you can enjoy the peace and vastness of Groningen's green landscapes. Right next to the park is the Weddermeer, the place to be for water lovers. Fishing, swimming, water sports - it's all possible here! By bike or canoe (both available for rent at the park) you can explore the old roads, rivers and canals that this region has to offer. Meanwhile, a half-hour drive takes you to the Dollard coast, part of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park, which is a unique coastal area on the border of Germany and the Netherlands. If you prefer something closer to your accommodation, visit the facilities of the adjacent Villapark Weddermeer, which you can use during your stay. With an indoor swimming pool, tennis court and a restaurant next to the park, there's plenty to do. In summer, the Fun & Entertainment team at Villapark Weddermeer ensures there are always fun activities for younger guests, at the park itself or in the surrounding area.

At Landal De Wedderplassen you will spend the night in modern accommodation that blends into the natural environment. With a view of the water, the covered terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a snack and a drink together, and in certain accommodation types the outdoor area is also equipped with a Green Egg barbecue, extra (outdoor) kitchen and/or a sauna and outdoor shower.
