The adventure begins as soon as you leave the motorway. From the family seaside resort Vrouwenpolder you’ll drive towards the dunes via beautiful dykes and country roads. Surrounded by dunes, in a former sandpit, lies our family campsite De Zandput. In former days, besides sand, drinking water was extracted from the dunes. This area now is a natural beauty of peace and quiet right next to the campsite. Wherever you exit the campsite, adventure awaits you: the North Sea beach, towns and villages on the former island Walcheren, the Veerse Meer lake and lots of walking- and cycling paths through woods, dykes and countryside.

The beaches from Vrouwenpolder have a Blue Flag, a European certification for marinas and beaches that are clean and safe.
